keep the Freep - Do it again!! - Ch 6 poll needs help.

last night there was this diary talking about a poll that will greatly help Shelly Midura get some exposure.  I don't have the mental energy to give all the details but the quick and dirty is:

The poll was overwhelmingly in favor of giving Shelly some air time.  Now today's poll is asking if they should throw out last night's results and Not allow Shelly her chance.

Please help out and take a turn on this poll. My advice would be to vote "no".  :) Thanks. *Edited to add title to one donated by Calebfaux*

    they cheat - they set up lame ass polls that will decide who gets to debate - they rig the poll so people can vote multiple times - then when we fight back and they Loose they decide to try again and just throw out the results they don't like.  It sucks. It's childish. but if it's what we have to do we do it anyway.

    My husband is the blogger. I just stuck my nose in because I'm a little more pissed off at the gop than even I usually am today.  if you have a suggestion at rewording feel free to submit and I'll edit.  sorry. I know it's light. I tried posting it as a comment on the open thread with the hope someone w/the energy would do a diary but it didn't happen and we were almost at 50% on the poll.  I have about 15 minutes before I crash for the night and my [less technologically gifted] hubby comes home.  He can blog w/the best but he can't do links n stuff.

  makes me feel unclean to do anything named after the slime at Free Republik Sanitarium.

  On the other hand, I'm disgusted by the media; newspapers, TV and Radio stations, that say they aren't going to give airtime to anyone who isn't a viable candidate.  How the hell do they know what's viable and what isn't?  Many local media types are dumber then rocks in the first place.  Secondly they're only looking at bottom line ad revenue, not public interest.

  Did all those people qualify for the ballot?  Give them all some airtime damnit, and let the voters sort it out on election day.

  ...yesterday and today! There shouldn't have even been a web poll to select debate candidates. That was the wrong way to do it. But hey, if they're gonna use web polls then they should stand by their results, whatever they may be. And I'm damn glad we freeped this poll!
